The Hub Bicycle CO-OP is a great place to go for all biking needs. They offer a one hour long class that is designed to keep you on your bike and enjoying your ride! We’ll go over the tools needed to fix your flat, how to identify its cause and techniques for making the whole process quick and painless. Besides going home with new skills and confidence, you’ll also leave with a patch kit to keep you on the road. These classes are free of charge with the donation of a canned food item that is donated the local food shelf. They also offer classes on basic maintenance, wheel building, and even a class on the bearings used in bicycles and how to overhaul them. At the hub they believe you should shop Oo-op because in doing so you are helping enrich the community. The hub is firmly committed to donating labor, money, and merchandise in order to support various community initiatives throughout the year. This includes 5% of all profits to help support the cycling community, the community at large, and the environment.
