Providing business loans and educating prospective home owners. The center helps entrepreneurs develop their business plans, and also teaches financial literacy. ADC provides training, lending and technical assistance to guide African immigrants and refugees in Minnesota along the path to economic prosperity. Ultimately, the center is about helping its clients make positive investments in the community.

Brian Coyle Community Center offers residents an institutional-size kitchen, six multi-purpose meeting rooms and a food shelf. The center is named after the late Brian J. Coyle, former vice president of the Minneapolis City Council. In addition to the programs run by Pillsbury United Communities, a number of other organizations operate out of the Coyle Center, including the Confederation of Somali Community in Minnesota, Emerge Community Development, and Pan African Legal Aid.
